The production process of recycled rubber mainly includes the following steps:
Waste rubber classification and cutting: First, the waste rubber is classified according to type, and then cut into appropriate sizes for subsequent processing.
Cleaning and crushing: The waste rubber needs to be cleaned to remove the sand and impurities on the surface, and then crushed by a crusher to obtain the required waste rubber particles.
Wind separation and magnetic separation: The crushed waste rubber particles are passed through a cyclone separator and a magnetic separation device to remove fiber impurities and steel wires, etc. to ensure product quality.
Desulfurization: Desulfurization is a key link in the production of recycled rubber. Qualified rubber powder is processed in a desulfurization tank, and its molecular network structure is destroyed through processes such as heating, pressurization and oxidation, so that it changes from an elastic state to a plastic state, which is convenient for subsequent processing.
Cooling and refining: The desulfurized rubber powder needs to be cooled to prevent carbonization, and then further processed through a refining process to remove impurities and improve plasticity.
Sheeting and inspection: The refined rubber is cut into sheets by an automatic cutting knife, and the reclaimed rubber that has passed the inspection can be coated with an isolation agent and packaged for shipment.
There are many options for the production process of reclaimed rubber, including oil method, water-oil method and high-temperature dynamic desulfurization method. The oil method has a simple process and low investment, but the regeneration effect is poor; the water-oil method has a complex process and high investment, but the regeneration effect is good; the high-temperature dynamic desulfurization method has a wide range of applications and little environmental pollution, but the equipment investment is large.
Reclaimed rubber has a wide range of applications, mainly in the production of rubber products. Due to its low price and stable performance, reclaimed rubber can partially replace virgin rubber and be used to produce various rubber products, such as sealing strips, hoses, waterstops, conveyor belts, insulation materials and wire and cable sheaths.
