Recently, ANRPC released its May 2023 report.

As the world enters a new round of rubber tapping season, global natural rubber production in May is expected to increase by 0.3% year-on-year to 1.006 million tons, a month-on-month increase of 12.3%.

Natural rubber consumption is expected to increase by 3.5% year-on-year to 1.272 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 1%.

At the same time, ANRPC also adjusted its overall forecast for this year.

It is expected that in 2023, global natural rubber production will increase by 2.5% year-on-year to 14.888 million tons.

Among them, Thailand will increase by 2.5%, Indonesia will increase by 1.8%, China will decrease by 0.1%, India will increase by 3.8%, Vietnam will increase by 0.1%, Malaysia will increase by 11.4%, and other countries will increase by 2.8%.

In 2023, global natural rubber consumption is expected to increase by 0.3% year-on-year to 15.118 million tons.

Among them, China will increase by 4.3%, India will increase by 1.9%, Thailand will decrease by 26%, Malaysia will increase by 5.8%, Vietnam will increase by 5.8%, and other countries will increase by 0.6%.
